Snowshoe Ecology Tours with a Ranger ~ Estes Park

Tours begin at 12:30 pm
Take a two hour beginner-level snowshoe tour with a ranger and explore the natural world of the sub-alpine forest while learning about snowshoe skills and winter safety.

No more than six per reservation.
For safety reasons children under 8 are not allowed.

Reservations required.

Event Beginning time(s): Workshops and exhibits 10 am - 5 pm; dinner 5:30 pm; talent show 7:30 pm

Festival revolves around planetary stewardship, sustainable living and a healthier life. Presentations and exhibits along with booths from the general public will demonstrate cultural diversity and utilization of community resources.

Dinner and talent show are included in the day's events and will be held in the Ponderosa Room from 5:30 to 7 pm.

Ticket Price: Admission to exhibits and workshops: adults 18 and over $5; 8-17 yrs. old $2.50; children under 8 yrs. free. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance. Age 16 and over $10; ages 6-17 $5. Children under six are free. Talent show $2.50 for all ages.

30th Frost Giant 5K and 10K Winter Races ~ Estes Park

Event Beginning time(s): 5K starts at 11 am; 10K at noon

High altitude 5K and 10K treks down MacGregor Avenue and through the historic MacGregor Ranch pastures. Multiple age divisions. Check in at 9:30 am at Town Hall in downtown Estes Park.

Ticket Price: Registration prior to Jan. 23: One race -$21 with T-shirt; $13 race only. Both races - $28 with T-shirt; $20 race only. Registration on race day includes a $5 charge in addition to entry fees.
